Surface finishes

Powder Coating is a modern surface treatment technology for metal, ensuring a high-quality, uniform surface without overflow and other defects, while meeting strict environmental protection criteria.

Proper surface preparation is the fundamental prerequisite for achieving the desired corrosion resistance and adhesion of the coating layer. Therefore, products pass through a spray tunnel suspended on a continuous conveyor and move through various technological stages: degreasing + phosphate, DEMI water, passivation, and DEMI water.

The coating is applied using special guns that electrically charge the powder particles, while the object is grounded. The resulting electrostatic attraction is sufficient to create the desired layer of powder on the object, which holds until it reaches the curing oven.

Charging of particles occurs in two ways. Either electrostatically, which is the common method for coating most parts, or tribostatically (kinetically), which is used for coating complex and enclosed products, or for piece production.

We Perform

We coat large series, individual pieces, and small orders, structures up to 300 kg and lengths up to 3 meters.

We coat steel, aluminum, hot-dip galvanized structures, and galvanized sheets. Parts for both interior and exterior use.

Technology Description:

Chemical Pretreatment of Parts – Tunnel Pretreatment of the Continuous Line

This technological part takes place in 3 to 5 steps. It starts with surface degreasing and creating a conversion layer, followed by a two-stage rinse with water and demineralized water.

For higher corrosion resistance requirements, a fourth and fifth step are added, where the surface of the part is treated with nanopassivation followed by a final rinse with demineralized water, ensuring the removal of salts from the surface before applying the powder coating.

The chemical pretreatment ends with drying the surface of the parts in a drying oven.

All used chemical agents are suitable for treating steel, galvanized, and aluminum surfaces before applying the final coating.

Application of Powder Coating and Curing in the Oven

The powder application is performed using electrostatic equipment (Corona).

The curing of the powder paint takes place in the oven according to the powder manufacturer's recommendations, considering the thickness of the coated material.

Colors

We use paints from many manufacturers or provide paint according to customer specifications.
